How To Pair Earbuds - Connect Bluetooth Earphones To Android Smart Phone

The device that you see in this video article is my recently bought Mi Bluetooth wireless earbuds.

So, as you can see that the earbuds have come with a beautiful case that protects as well as charges the earbuds. To connect or pair them with your android smart device. Just open the top lid which will enable Bluetooth of the earbuds. Then switch on the Bluetooth in your smartphone and search for your earbud model name. Once found, click on it and when asked for pairing click yes, that’s it. The pairing is done, you have successfully connected the Bluetooth earphones with your smart device.

The connection will be established faster then you blind your eyelid.

Whenever you connect it next time. This is the same process ‘How To Pair Earbuds’ to connect whatever other devices you want like speakers, mouse, keyboard etc.

The Mi earbuds that I am using in this video article, only gets connected to one device. So in order to connect it to a different device. I have to do this process every time. If your earbuds support multiple devices, this is just a one time process.

I am not saying it’s the world’s best experience but definitely better than it’s competition in the same price range. The white look of the MI Bluetooth Earphones really looks very cool. At the same time will make you look professional. The earbud tip that you insert in your ears. It has got smooth finish whereas the stick has a matte finish feel, overall the built quality is really good.

Plus the case of it also looks very premium, kind a like the higher priced earbuds.

The surprising thing is, it comes with a 14.2 dynamic drivers while the competition is still offering drivers around 6. So that is definitely a big thing to consider. With the help of advanced audio coding codec, the audio experience is going to be really high definition.

The pairing process is fairly very simple,

but once paired with your device that connection time is faster then you blink your eye lids.

Many in the past use to always complaint about the delay that the Bluetooth earphones use to come with. But no such non sense you will notice with this MI Bluetooth Earphones. The battery of this pair is also very good, company claims it to be 20 hours.

Now about the gestures. When double tapping the left earbud it allows you to access the voice assistant. And when double tapped the right one, it plays/pauses your music, receives calls and rejects. One more interesting feature which is really smart is that. It automatically pauses the music when you pull out the earbuds from your ears. And starts playing back when put back on.

No technology out there is perfect, so this also comes with some cons.

First, the gestures are limited and second. Some people may feel the size is slightly on a bigger side. As none of these things mattered my choice because they really fit very comfortable in my ears. The primary reason for buying these earbuds was the superb sound quality. And I wanted the earphones to be decent for calling, so these MI Bluetooth Earphones really serve my needs beautifully.

Shure SM48-LC is a vocal dynamic microphone with cardioid polar pattern,

as it is very similar to it’s legendary brother the Shure SM58, which means it is very suitable for singing, voice over projects, podcasting, gaming or streaming etc. Looking at the price of this microphone, the accessories that you get are of really very good quality.

The things that you will get inside the box are as follows :

zipper storage bag, microphone, mic clip, Velcro cable tie, sticker and few manual guides and documentations.

The SM48 needs an audio interface or a mixer

in order to recording inside a computer,

It is not a recommended method, also I have not tested it personally but it can be connected directly via an XLR to USB converter cable, as it is a dynamic microphone, it doesn’t require a lot of power. Plus, No phantom power needed.

Talking about the connections, you will need to buy an XLR cable separately, as the name suggests SM48-LC, the LC stands for ‘less cable’. The XLR cable is not included in the box.
Connect the microphone with the XLR cable straight into the input of your audio interface, and then the audio interface is connected to your computer via USB.

The off axis rejection and coloration test, the hand held test, the computer keyboard sound test for streamers, sound change on different distance test and vocal demo for the singers, every test is covered and included in the video, watch it till the very end before the vocal demo is at the end of it.

It’s a microphone which sounds just awesome without any EQ or compression,

The Shure A58WS-BLK is a microphone cover made out of form material. This is called with multiple names, microphone windscreen, microphone windshield or microphone muffler mic foam cover.

It’s a cover that reduces the extra unnecessary vocal sounds made during recording, like plosives,

now what the hell is a plosives ?

It’s a sounds that gets produced when your breath hits the diaphragm of the microphone. The sound is very annoying to be very honest, which contains heavy bass distorted popping.
